HOLIDAY INN AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS EARNS HOLIDAY INN BRAND HIGHEST AWARDS TWO YEARS IN A ROW

MEMPHIS (OCTOBER 22, 2004) - The Holiday Inn at The University of Memphis was presented InterContinental® Hotels Group 2004 Torchbearer Award as one of the best Holiday Inn hotels for achieving the highest levels of excellence in all aspects of operational performance and customer satisfaction.

For the second year the Holiday Inn at The University of Memphis has been recognized as a top performer. Last year, the Holiday Inn at The University of Memphis received the Holiday Inn brand’s Newcomer of the Year Award as one of the best properties to have entered the Holiday Inn system.

The Holiday Inn at The University of Memphis is one of 14 out of 1,100 Holiday Inn hotels to receive the Torchbearer Award.

The hotel was honored today during the InterContinental® Hotels Group America’s Investors and Leadership Conference in Chicago, IL.
